@smcphee1000 You also have to use a special glue to seal the fan casing back on the Kirby and its expensive. Thanks to Windsor and Clarke, we have vacuums where the dirt goes straight into the bag and doesnt pass though the vacuum motor like the Kirby's, Sanitaires, and others. Id bet $100 If we gave the same carpet service a Kirby and a Windsor Sensor or a Clarke Combivac and let them use them for 6 months, the Kirby wouldnt last and the Windsor/Clarke would still be on top!
@smcphee1000No son im not.Can you Kirby pick up staples, coins, drywall, glass, andother items without breaking the fan blade?Fan first(where dirt hits the fan first) vacuums are always a bad choice for commercial use, especially the Kirby Heritage II as the fan blades were metal.ive got a few sanitaires and ive had to replace a few fan blades, but they are designed to where i can do that in 5 mins.A kirby would take all day, then you would have to re seal the casing after you replaced a fan blade.
Best Vacuum Huh, i dont think so. My Windsor Sensor, Clarke Combivac's, Clarke DMU's, Clarke Filtravacs, Sanitaire, and my Clarke 580B Begg to differ on that. Kirbys are junk and not made for commericial use!
