@AishaBad influence. When religion ruled the West, we had the middle age, inquisition, crusades, superstitious explanations for natural events, and biblical sanctioned racism. The great thing about the West was unlike our Eastern counterpart, we learned to go further than what religion had to offer and little by little we overcame their nonsense.

@AishaBad That's an unfounded statement. What exactly would make Jesus a secularist, maybe statement like I'm the way, and no one sees my father but through me. Who is too gutless to take on Islam? The Islamic religion is just as ridiculous as Christianity. Why would an Atheist be 'afraid of Islam'? Flying up to the clouds on a 'Buraq' to meet Allah is just as absurd as many fairy tales in the Bible. I certainly wouldn't have any reservations about confronting Islamic beliefs....they are just as ludicrous as any religion.
