My first rough lip-synching animation created with Reallusion's latest iteration of "Crazy Talk Pro". This version (number 6) includes an additional hair mesh that lets you include odd appendages (such as skull-top ears and horns) within your original Project which is a great help when trying to create an impression of three dimensions.

This cat still has some dead-eye-ness, the left one is breaking so I need to try to improve the Model as well as fix the two-tone green screen - the background was SUPPOSED to be a single shade.

I probably WON'T attach this head to a body - but will try some close-up angles instead. I need to compose them so that I don't waste the DEPTH.

  • Try removing the background in gimp or photoshop and saving it as a transparent png image. then import it into crazytalk and the bg will be masked out for you so you can then insert the true green color without it being two tones. That works best for me when trying to insert animated backgrounds.

  • Thanks for the tip. I've never tried The Gimp. How highly would you rate that graphics program out of ten ?

  • @Ewechewb:

Gimp is very advanced and can do most of the things most people do in Photoshop, while being free and community developed. It often does things in a different way to other apps, though, so it has a bit of a steep learning curve.

I recommend trying it out and reading some tutorials, the built-in help files, Grokking the Gimp online book (old now, but still useful) and other online guides. Gimp User Group (GUG) has some nice tutorials to start out.

  • I just sub you. Looks like we both have a large variety of interests as I see from your range of videos. Keep looking for the gold partner.

  • you sound like a old person

  • nice .. :)

i appreciate it if you want to visit my video. I've just learned to make videos to it using crazy talk 6.

  • For a free program 10. I stopped using photoshop for it.

  • Why I can´t export AVI file from crazy talk 6? only the audio is exporting ,the screen is in black, could you tell me why? please.

  • 5 Stars !
