Tager has the most life in the game out of any character, 13000+ vs the average life of 11000. That and the bang player combo the distortion drives together, meaning that the damage scaling was pretty sever for the second DD and didn't do enough damage to kill Tager.

because the longer a combo is, the less damage it will due, so since he already had like a 20 hit combo going, his drives didnt due crap to tager

Combo scaling. The second did very little damage sadly
