I have a One Second Chain Oiler in short OSCO on my bike it's a lot like the more familiar scottoiler only no electronics. On this vid i'll show how it works

  • The is oil is on the wrong side of the chain! It needs to apply the oil to the inside of the chain surface, then centrifugal force will coat the inside and outside of the chain also the sprocket. (check out the way the 'scottoiler' works) The build quality looks great but the design of the oil application needs work..

  • @revilorellim Sorry for the late response , seen the pics of the scottoiler. If the Osco would have the same nossle it would function as you describe. Forwarding this to the Osco designer for further development :-)

  • Looks like a simple but effective design. :D

  • @RC62 Yes it works great , i'm pleased with it

  • great idea, never seen anything like it!

I got no problem spraying mine every week when I wash it tho...

  • @r1gester Thanks. My neither , only the osco comes in handy when you go on a long trip. You don't have to carry the spray can with you anymore , not that it takes a lot of space but it's more the sticky outside and if you're not careful the rest of the luggage that get's greased.

  • @DarkFlightVlogs There is no oil on the swing arm or tyre's , sometimes there are little drops on the rims that come from the chain itself but no more (or less) then with a spray can. Normally i do the chain at the gas station and there are always cloths at the gas station so i can clean the rim :-)

  • Does any of the oil flick off onto the rims or swing arm? How about the tires??

I've only recently heard of these and my first concern was that it would find it's way to the tires.....I guess it's only a small amount hey??

  • @bakker46 Maybe they could invent a system attached to us full of beer, a human beer feeder lol no backwards and forwards to the fridge ;0)

  • @navythomas8 Never thought of that LOL
