Overturned Tractor-Trailer w/Entrapment

A big rig overturns as it enters the NB I-605 Freeway in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The driver is trapped with critical injuries for over an hour. He is airlifted via Mercy Air Ambulance. Unfortunately, I had to move my vehicle out of the SB 605 Carpool lane as the Helo lifted off. Gotta keep CHP happy!

I was right behind this truck before he flipped over we were both traveling from the 5 south to 605 north interchange where there is a real sharp turn he cornered the truck at a fast speed which made him flip over I barely missed all the debris flying around and I couldn't stop to help on the fwy I had my new born baby with me in the car that thing tipped overin front of my eyes was horrifying and u can't stop because u know there will be another car coming around that corner

this department is going traditional with the traditional helmets and turnouts he was probably just trying them out before the rest of the department got theirs

Thanks for posting this clip. Its the first I've seen of this particular accident. I was on the 605N and was wanting to exit on Telegraph. Suddenly traffic came to a stop. There was a big truck in front of me that wasn't moving at all, and I finally moved over and went around it. The reason the truck wasn't moving was because the driver had jumped out and ran over to help. The accident had just happened and the police or fire & rescue weren't there yet.
