2003 Chevy Trailblazer EXT Accelerating getting on highway

2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer accelerating back on to the highway after stopping to switch drivers. This is the 4.2 liter inline six with 275hp(newer models make 291hp). 3/4 throttle, my dad says "shift" because I was keeping it in a lower gear to hear it rev. Keep note of the distance between us and the tan pickup truck with the black cab passing us just before we start off, we nearly meet up with it at the end of the video, revealing that the actual acceleration is much faster than it looks on camera.
