Ok please give me "your" facts on all of the other ships that have larger square footage standard staterooms.
Why do you need a new ship? With the economy going into a depression, smart companies are identifying ways to operate leaner to stay in business. If you don't like Carnival, or the people you go on cruises with, don't go and spoil it for the rest of us.

Then I suggest you stop thinking like a fan and get realistic. Carnival is one of the worst offenders in the business when it comes to repitition. No new ships for Carnival coming for next year, the 2 they have this year were supposed to go to Costa and transferred at the last moment. Industry wide they are known for average to small staterooms, a price tthey paid when the QV came on line for them. Facts help, not thinking like a fan.

Carnival spends more money on new ships, and more money on constantly updating ships than any other cruise line. Their regular staterooms are larger than most of the other lines. I don't work for Carnival, but have had the best time with them. New ships this year and the next few years, don't know where you get your data. If you don't have fun on a cruise, its usually ones own fault. However, the cruise director, and Dining Room Madre De can enhance your trip.
