1, internet isn't a commercial trade- it's a given. Internet doesn't cost money, hosting websites does.

2, Ad-companies use cookies and trackers, that follow what sites you use- where you buy products, what you buy, what ads you click on, what you fill in on contact details- and many many more. Even your social behaviour (facebook) is sold to ad-companies. As for searches, even your google searches are sold. This all from & to advertisement companies.

And also, the internet was funded by investors, so they could build up. But now that money is gone, byebye money! Now they have to get funds in other ways, i.e. advertisements. And ofcourse you can deny any points I just gave you. But it's the truth and you will have to either live with it, or you have to come with an ingenious idea so that advertisements are no longer necessary to keep businesses alive like Google and Facebook, because that's what they are businesses.

First of all tell me how adds have anything to do with your personal information going round on the internet, and I mean directly! Second, maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. I think you're exaggerating, it can't have been on for so long without any form of advertisement. And final, if the advertisements weren't needed they wouldn't be there. Because it is annoying, yes it is. But for repeat, at this point apparently internet is NOT possible without them. Clear enough?
