I heart the Princess and the drifter!!

I love how their logical arguments make sense and are LOGICAL. Not like what we have today where Super Jason knows everything just because *rollseyes*

@salimahp973 wow you stopped watching once the shows got pretty lame and boring. Good for you you were able to give them up. It'd take me an additional 10 years or so before I got fed up. It was around OJ Simpson's Trial that the soaps weren't so great anymore. I don't know why I didn't give them up that quickly. I guess I always thought they'd get better but they never did

@pxlbarrel it hit number 1(because people who watched GH would call the station's to request the song) also, "Rise" the disco instrumentation "rised" up to No. 1 because it was the theme played during the dreadful scene of Luke raping Laura and awhile after when she'd recall the rape.

@pxlbarrel Player's "Baby Come Back?" was their theme. That must've been when they first met at the disco/disco days coz I watched most of that story and never heard it in the background(suzzeq) has most of it. Everybody says they always danced to "Fascination?"(don't know the artist) "And Think of Laura" by Christopher Cross was a running theme when Laura came back from Cassadine Island. As for L + H's theme it was "Baby Come To Me" by Patti Austin and James Ingram.

Too bad the Ancient One isn't packing heat

Okay, Grizzly Jones, don't you think it's about time you shave and perhaps get a haircut?

Looks like Felicia almost missed a step in Robert's house while she was carrying the grocery bags :)

@pxlbarrel Remember Luke and Holly was "Baby Come to Me" by Patti Austin & James Ingram. Robert and Holly's was "The Greatest Love Affair of All" by Jeffrey Osborne. Robert and Anna (when she first came on the show) was "All is Fair in Love" by Stevie Wonder. Luke and Lauara also had the Christopher Cross song "Think of Laura" when she came back from the dead.

What I miss from this era is the layered narrative and the interconnectivity of the characters' lives. I haven't watched GH or any other soap opera in more than 15 years, but these clips have helped me remember why, as an 11-year-old I was hooked.
I am watching the Asian Quarter Part 182 and my question is when Frisco and Felicia are walking on the waterfront, I am just curious why they keep playing the theme from St. Elmo's Fire. Can anyone help me on that?

@kodiak4012000 Don't know the significance of the song but GH, back then, always made a current pop song as the theme of their couples. Ummm... Luke and Laura was "Baby Come Back" (I think). I forget Robert and Holly's ... somebody help? haha
