  • I love this film, but the new born baby is tres creepy!

  • Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful - specially Grenouille as a little boy - the cutest kid I've ever seen - those eyes!

  • Good grief, has anyone read the book? He doesnt want to feel loved, he doesnt feel guilty either. He doesnt understand the concept of morality, or God, or anything that cant be smelled. Nor does he have any remorse over the women he killed, because according to him -the petals, the colour, the beauty, the life, it was all just shells-. Obviously this is said about flowers, but it applies to people as well. Suskind wrote an excellent work, and its a good movie, but Grenouille is not a nice guy.

  • I think throughout his whole existence he just wanted to feel loved. Therefore he created the Ultimate Perfume to be recognized and loved by anyone and everyone . But at end he realized that they loved him forcefully because of the Perfume, finally realizing that's not true love at all. Having done all he could think of to do to be Loved he poured the bottle on his head leaving the world as he did when he was born : loveless.

  • Rachel looks hot with red hair :O

  • oh i do like to kill some girls for the perfume

  • For all the people who are asking why he tipped all the perfume on himself at the end, I think it was because he felt guilty about killing all those women because he had realized that killing is wrong. You see a teardrop run down his eye at the end, he realises the power that he has to change people with the purfume. He felt for the people that he killed, then he tipped it on himself just too end it all because he knew they would tear him to shreds. That's what I think. Anyone agree?
