JDRF supports research for type 1 diabetes, an autoimmune disease . It is a

misconception that type 1 is caused by obesity or eating

too much junk food or sweets. This promotion was done by one KFC store whose owner has a child with type 1, it is not put on by the JDRF. As I also pointed out above, the soda is meant to be shared, not consumed by one person.

It wasn't a JDRF promo. It was 1 store, whose owner's child

has diabetes, they were just trying to raise funds to assist with a cure .

@bunkmasterflex Quite the opposite. I'm pointing out that there are numerous interests in this country that are invested in just that: studying the "possible" links between dumbass health choices and poor health outcomes. All they do is perpetuate the liberal line that health is purely because of environment, not personal choice, etc. It's a joke.
