This is a brief example of how to use a Neodymium rare earth magnet to test if an item is solid silver. It is meant to be one of a number of tests to verify precious metal contents, but it is an inexpensive and effective way to see if the coins you are buying are real silver.

I have a few for sale on ebay. User id: brysco

I hope you enjoy the video!

*You should always wear gloves when working with silver; however, these are some of my silver coins that I don't mind tarnishing

  • The Morgan Dollar is not real... On the real coins, Lady Liberty is facing the left. It might be a reproduction silver coin?

  • @TheEpicPoker Innversion happens because of the camera, if you look at the silver eagle, you'll notice it is inverted as well.
