I vaguely remember seeing this as a kid, those blood sucking creature scared the hell out of me. But thanks to nostalgia and learning about steampunk art I was brought back here and can't wait to watch it!

Hm....looks like a predecessor of Limbo :)

Revolvingocelot made me watch this and i loved it! wish there was more length to it cuz i really enjoyed it!

@SilentShotV For SBS it is nothing; scacley a full season. Perhaps if we complained...
-
@sqccccccccc Hm interesting, so it has been on hold for 6 years now? That is depressing, i would like to see the full story.
-
@SilentShotV I had the confirmation of the director that SBS put his project on hold despites praises.
-
@SilentShotV Actually they don't they have commentary, a making of, shorts and that's all.
-
@sqccccccccc I believe there is a DVD available, although i am not sure how many parts are there, but it's only logical that a DVD would include 4 parts, or else it would look comical with a 20 min segment. So i think this first part was released to us for free perhaps as an advertisement.
-
@SilentShotV But the other parts weren't produced were they?
-
@f5yeangel5 Well to answer your question, this whole animated film is divided into 4 parts. What we have here is the first part, there are 3 others:
-Jasper Morello and the Return of Claude Belgon, thats the second voyage.
-Jasper Morello and the Ghosts of Alto Mea, thats the third voyage.
-Jasper Morello and the Ebenezer of Gothia, in a Feature Presentation, the fourth voyage.
What i think is that we have the general description of 4 parts. So theres that.
Day[9] made me do it.
And I loved evfery second of The Mysterious Explorations of Jasper Morello!
