For the past few months my wifes HP Slimline S3020N computer has been giving me troubles when I turn it off for awhile and then try to turn it back on. Sometimes it wouldn't turn back on and I would have to hit the power supply casing to make it work. Well we came home from a 10 day vacation and it wouldn't turn on at all.

Awesome! Thanks for posting ... and finding those two screws hidden under the hard drive. HP sure doesn't make replace the original POS power supply easy!

i dont know anything about computers.... BUT can someone tell me what power suppy i can use to put into my slimeline? i have s3860a model .. i know someone who can install it just dont know what exact power supply box to get

Thank you for posting this video. I just discovered that my office computer an HP Slimline (bought barely a year ago and not extensively used) will not start due to a power supply problem. I just spent 20 minutes on the phone with the HP Hardware tech support person who quoted me a price of $330 and 2 weeks time to fix the problem. After watching this video, I know better than to waste my money. I'm just going to buy another computer and it won't be an HP!!
