Historic Scotland's Stewart Dynasty TV ad runs from 6th June 2011 to launch the opening of Stirling Castle's spectacularly refurbished Renaissance Palace. See inside six magnificent royal apartments which have been returned to how they might have looked in the 1540s, when it was the childhood home of Mary Queen of Scots. Meet our costumed performers who will welcome you into 16th century life in one of Scotland's greatest castles.

  • We had a great trip to Stirling Castle with my niece and nephew from Brisbane. The guy dressed up in the palace who taught them how to bow was fantastic! Keira said the highlight of her holiday here was when her brother bowed to the servant instead of Mary!

    Loved it!

  • This ad is quite funny, especially since I remember the Dynasty TV series. Anyway, I also have been to Stirling Castle during my vacation last august (I come from Holland) and saw some of the costumed actors. I loved it! The palace is beautiful and well worth a visit! Please have a look at my Stirling Castle movie on my channel. I hope you like it. Thanks in advance for watching!

  • Get this trash off our TV screens, PLEASE!

  • LMAO.
