The two versions even run side by side. As for features you don't understand, like how to search, we'd be happy to address these directly if you'd just call or email.

Logos 4 can easily be run in a completely offline mode. We implemented syncing in response to requests from users with multiple machines, and in order to provide both backup and data-sharing features. Moreover, the software is FREE; you only pay for content and add-in features. The upgrades with prices include many more resources, which is that the cost covers. Logos v3 still runs and is supported, and no one is compelled to upgrade.

@FactsIsFacts ShareGiver appears to be a novice looking into the cockpit of a 747 and criticizing the controls because they are beyond his understanding.

@ShareGiver Base package functionality is the same in ALL packages. (It is like your eye glasses, reading lamp & fingers are to reading a paper book.) It is hard to read a paper dictionary if you do not own one. But that would not justify saying your fingers, reading light or lasses "don't work." The Gold package is better because it contains more resources. It doesn't do anything more than the lower packages in functionality. You really don't know much about Logos 4.

My school offers a class to teach how to use this software properly. You are a fool. When you use all the things that the software has to offer, then complain. worst review i have ever read

What an idiotic statement.
If someone gets my house key they can come in and steal things!!
Yeah...so? Are you going to call the lock maker a rip off? How about the person who delivered your furniture that got stolen.
It's not Logos' job to keep your laptop secure. It's yours.
They've stated from the beginning. If you have very sensitive things in notes, then they are better stored someplace else...the notes in Logos are for "note taking while bible studying.
Get a grip.

Gosh..what an unbiased and even-handed review....not.

You seem vary negitive about Logos. Were you hurt by them? And if we shouldn't use it, what would "you" recomend?

UPDATE: The Search Dialog was recently added to the NASB Concordance. Someone was listening.
Now I can only hope for another honest ear to the other issues that could easily be fixed, and which would once again make this a coveted and highly recommended software.
As an admitted novice in this software, I find this thread a bit perplexing. How is it that with thousands of users there seems to be only these isolated negative comments from one user, ShareGiver? I'm not arguing with any of the statements either way. It's just that normally when I find a product with notable problems there is an abundance of negative comments. I have not found that to be the case with Logos 4. And I truly appreciate the Christian attitude in the responses posted by LBS.

Apparently you have not visited an L4 forum (thread).
Are you prejudice? Is having a "christian" attitude supposed to be the acceptable "standard" by which I'm supposed to be approved? Because none of the holy people of old were "christians" Moreover, if preying upon peoples intelligence is an appreciated "chritstian" attitude, then surely you don't think I view your standard as respectful.
Only a novice or one who is not tech savvy would likely be oblivious to what LBS has implemented.

Your perplexity reminds me of the ever so reliable condition of ingrained blind faith.
Or is it because I'm not prejudice or biased? Because I do consistently perceive the reticence and passiveness of overly righteous christitans towards crhristians. While the Scriptures on the other hand teach to rebuke your brother frankly.
What you judge as "negative" could be an oversight on LBS for which they may take to heart. Time will tell, not your presumptuous acccusation.
