Galdogob is the second largest city in the Mudug region of Somalia. It lies approximately 12 kilometers southeast of the border with Ethiopia. Its population is about 120,000 people.

Galdogob is a rapidly growing city. It has the largest hospital in central Somalia. It has a very reliable electricity and telecommunications sector.
