Here's my review on Amla Oil. If you don't want to watch the whole 3.5 minute video, just know that I wasn't loving the stuff. I'm sticking with Coconut Oil

  • @Beautylogicblog, There's a brand of Amla oil that doesn't have Mineral oil and that made me happy the oil that they mix in the brand has sesame oil. I hate mineral oil period

  • My hair after using this was soft but not shining. I think I stick to the Vatika oil.

  • I am using the oil now and it does stink but my husband is indian and he loves the smell. I do however mix it with water and spray it on my scalp then wash it out the next day!

  • @desichick Amen!

  • errr hellooo? uv only used it for one day lady! wat da hell dis u expect...dat wen u use it for one day ur hair will be really lustrious?! it dont work like dat...uv got to use it for like months n months to see results!

  • i used this oil for 1 year when i was 10 since my hair was so damaged from my cousins hair dye experiments. my hair was so dry and short until i used this product. yes it smells gross and its a hassel to sleep with it in your hair before you shower, but because of it, my hair is AMAZING! my friends envy it. its long, thick and shiney. idk about the mineral oil but i used it when i was 10 and nothing happened to me. i think theres amla oil infuson without the mineral oil

  • Can you tell me what brand of coconut oil you use? Thanks! :)

  • I like using the oil but it smells and stings the eyes. But the company has now brought out Amla Gold which does not smell and will not sting the eyes.

  • I agree about the mineral oil. For amla oil without mineral oil try buying it Lakshmi's Cupboard (an online store) - their's has a sesame seed base. Ingredients: Natural Sesame Seed oil, Ayurvedic Emblica offinalis (Amla), Piper Iongum, Tinospora cordifolia
