  • sorry but that just doesn't sound good. no i don't hate jazz or blues or anything similar but those notes, the sound quality everything about that is off. (My opinion)

  • Nice job guys. Glad to see the program still going strong. We played this tune when I was there. Class of 1994. Brian Denny on alto. Great tune. Check in the office you can find my name on the wall in there. Scott Brian - I play with the Touch of Brass big band in San Jose now after getting my masters from the University of North Texas.Keep swinging.

  • @nfn58 See you on Saturday!

  • @orjazzmicintentions Woodcreek, i'm not trying to say we will win :p just sayin we have a chance

  • @nfn58 Thats right. Thank you. What school do you go to?

  • @orjazzmicintentions rio americano did win because folsom didn't compete at their own festival, in the scores folsom got 1 point higher out of 3000, can't wait for this years festival, my band is in Rio's division and actually has a chance to get really close/ beat them. they are still a very impressive band though.

  • @nfn58 I am not sure if I remember correctly...but I am pretty sure that we won last year. The festival is not rigged for Folsom. Thanks for the support!!!

  • jesus

  • Yeah dude, rio is better than folsom for a number of reasons, of course victor san pedro and zac giberson are a couple of the best musicians their age, but that rythym section probably has more practice together than most professional bands do, its ridiculous how together they are. They literally think as one person.

  • whoever said folsom is better is wrong. the sax soloist on alto has a full ride scholarship to Berklee in boston.the guitar player is one of the best oung musicians in the world. and the reat of the band isnt too shabby either.
