Ancient Chinese and Korean rocket technology demonstrated

Tseng Kung-Liang, an official of the Chinese goverment, penned a comprehensive account of gunpowder's application to weapons in 1045 (Song Dynasty, 960-1279)

It was called "Wu-ching Tsung-yao" (Complete Compendium of Military Classics), and it detailed the use of ballistic fire arrows.

The first writings on this in the west is found in the military writings of al-Hasan al-Rammah (1285), when Arabs began using gunpowder
propelled fire arrows in combat.

The Hwacha was developed in China and called Huoche. The Chinese had multiple designs, including those with low trajectories for close-range combat and high trajectories for long range.
