u ppl all got it wrong, I've never read the books, I don't think I ever will, or maybe I will. But I watched this movie, and very little in here ever suggested that these 2 would be lovers. In fact, in the end when Lestat bites Jesse and she becomes a vampire, it looks more of a Daughter Father relationship. Like Lestat and Louise. Yes, I think Lestat thinks of Jesse more of his responsibility like he's a parent. it sort of suggested romance, but it seemed nothing other than what it was really.

Yeah, the film Marius is not quite what Marius in fact is. In true vision his reasons for choosing Lestat would've been completely different - very loving and emotional- totally NOT random & he's so not creepy. The film fucked up everything. EVERYTHING. Anyway, if you're truly interested in why Jesse isn't good for Lestat, please, read the number 2 reason for "Why The Hate?" on my Lestat & Jesse Hate Site. why wouldnt Jesse be good for him? at least she WANTS to become a vampire and isnt just randomly picked by Marius(who is a MAJOR creeper if u ask me and not to mention completely stuck up). and i didnt mean to mentally scar u, if i did, i used to be in band and at my old high school, we were perverted or "mentally disturbed llamas" in a fun way! ^_^

not tht way!!!!! i dont mean Jesse ACTING the same as Akasha bc tht wouldnt work. i meant just the make out scene itself. then everyone who loves this couple would b happy. and i agree, Jesse acting the same way as Akasha WOULD b very disturbing. and disgustinf. UGH!
