White Feather Music Festival 2006

Again 2006 had brought another year of The White Feather Festival, a mini Glastonbury here in sunny Devon . This clip is just a tiny excerpt giving an insight into the truly wonderful natural Healing side of the Festival organised by Andrea and Bob Thompson and showing in part what the whole event was about, raising funds for the Chernobyl Childrens Project Charity. The Main event on the day was huge and an incredible success, a truly spectacular show, boasting top names from all over the country.my congratulations to both Andrea and Bob for their huge amount of hard work (behind the scenes too) in organising this incredible Festival....Ronnie Beal..

For the last nine years Joan Edwards and her family, from Ashprington,Totnes have been fostering Anya Nebyshynets, now aged 14, for six weeks every Christmas and summer. Anya who suffers from cerebral palsy comes from Belarus which was badly hit by the Chernobyl disaster back in 1986. Anya had never left her cot in the five years she'd been in a Russian orphanage. her arms and legs wouldn't bend but she smiled constantly. they have so far between them raised over £30000 for the Charity.
