Holy Trinity Alexander Nevsky Lavra.

St. Trinity Alexander-Nevsky Lavra is one of the two biggest monasteries of Russia. The film speaks about the history and the present days of Lavra. It is the second construction in the new capital of Russia, after the Admiralty. Later it became a cultural and spiritual center of Tsarist Russia and used to be visited by Tsars families. During the Communist times it was closed and almost ruined. Today it is the time for its revival the revival of monastic life, spiritual renaissance and hard work of reconstruction.
