The Lincoln Zephyr was introduced in the 2006 model year and renamed the MKZ beginning with the 2007 model year.
Injury measures:

Driver — Measures taken from the dummy indicate that a fracture of the pelvis would be likely in a crash of this severity. The risk of significant injuries to other body regions is low.

Rear passenger — Measures taken from the dummy indicate that rib fractures would be possible in a crash of this severity. The risk of significant injuries to other body regions is low.
Head protection:

Driver — The dummy's head was protected from being hit by any hard structures, including the intruding barrier, by a side curtain airbag that deployed from the roof and a side airbag that deployed from the seat.

  • go move to china if you dont like american cars.

  • That rear side curtain airbag would be pointless for anyone that is over 5'1, because your head would hit the C-pillar instead of the air bag. The dummy tested in the backseat was a 5'1 person.

  • Probably to keep the price down to an affordable level, and move as many off dealer lots as they can.
