@MrLayford65 She has directly admitted to being inspired by her since the beginning, a lot more than for example lady gaga thanks Madonna for inspiration (she never directly said she's inspired by madonna) and honestly, madonna and debbie harry are nowhere near alike as madonna and gaga are.

To admit she admired Blondies Debbie Harry is a shock she has never admited to anyone before that she was inspired by a woman in music up to this point I think it killed her to say it though.
