Someone brought a PC running DOS and the original Impulse Tracker, which inspired Virt to use it to track cheesy pop tunes well into the next morning. Look at him go!

  • Man, I remember doing that. I can almost even remember the keystrokes he's using. The old trackers are still unparalleled for rapid music creation. Only recently discovered Schism Tracker; I plan on making gooood use of it.

  • @lukanova Hey, I go mouseless, too. I use SchismTracker, btw (an ImpulseTracker clone).

  • oh my. no-mouse music-making, the way i remember it back in the days and still seek it today. we tracking wierdos we termed to be typist-secretaries for constant keyboard tapping while making music.

  • That's the Jake I remember! He got started tracking a few years before I did, I believe. We spent a few years idling on IRC and doing a lot of music together using this program.
