American Football - Five Silent Miles

This is the album version from the Polyvinyl cd single series. I tried something different with this one here. I took a couple shots of the album in my room and then decided to take a pretty large spanning and long walk around the neighborhood taking some random pictures and some planned pictures I thought would look good. Instead of just simply ripping some pics off the net. So these are all originals shot by myself. A lot of the pictures involve houses and stuff, but it kinda fits the whole theme I guess. The video ends with a few parting shots during night fall at a park.

I was pretty pleased with the way it turned out on my computer. I may describe some of the pictures here in more detail at a later date, but for now this'll do. Again this is the full version of Five Silent Miles off the cd single series by American Football. I've seen bits and pieces of this song around Youtube, but no one has uploaded the entire version (there is a cool live version up here though I don't think it was the whole song).

I live in Rome, Italy, but i really love this video ... your town seems so peacefully and relaxing, the song is very good for this slideshow. Thank you to show me this little but nice part of Usa, i hope to see this place with my eyes one day

I like the slideshow as its bleak yet some how its comforting to know that these places are home to someone. I don't know about the pan ins/outs they just seem a little corny, but well done
