This is a hamstring workout video and I'm going to show you four exercises you can do at home. There are two great reasons to do hamstrings. First, so you dont have to wear baggy pants 24/7 to hide your chicken legs. And second, because it can help you avoid knee pain or possibly eliminate it if you already have it. Many times people get knee pain because their hamstrings are weak in comparison to their quads and pulls the kneecap causing it to track incorrectly. I experienced this myself and the pain was so bad that it was preventing me from running and jumping. I worked with a physical therapist to strengthen the hamstrings and within 6 weeks the pain was complete gone and that was two decades ago.

  • this scooby guy kinda bugs me BUT he knows his shit.. and props to him cuz hes doin everything at home.. he doesnt try to sell gym memberships or expensive equipment he just uses what he has.. so for those reasons i like him.. and those hamstring deals he was doin with the barbell i do those standin on my weight bench cuz then ya get another 5 to 6 inches of stretch.. vs stoppin with the weight on the ground.. it feels soooooooo good..

  • I find it almost impossible to coordinate hamstring curls..... I keep having my workout bench fall backwards on top of me :S

  • To be honest if youre any real type of bodybuilder youll just work out everything anyways Because its not always about what you want to work out, but some times it is rather just what ever is best for your body.

  • the problem with 3 of 4 exercises in this video to me seems that you really cannot use a lot of weight if you wanna do them corrently and safely.

    Most flimsy attachments don't seem to be able to handle decent weight (decent weight for the hams imo starts around at least 100lbs and that's really NOT much weight for the hams, advertised max often is below that)

  • I would love to have strong long hamstrings! I wonder, does anyone ever build hamstrings so strong (like stiff legged deadlifts and leg curls) that they overpower the quads? Does it ever cause the reverse of this problem with the knee cap?
