No, this is not the final painting. :-)

What you see is "unpainted", so they come from toulouse to hamburg. In hamburg the aircraft receive its inventory and the final painting.

@walkbyfeet do u know when Malaysia airlines will receive their second a380? their engine similar to other aircraft like Sia or emirates...i mean what kind of engine that malaysia airlines used for this aircraft?

Planned are in the Malaysian A380 Rolls-Royce engines. Delivery is in the 3rd quarter of this year. I guess august or september.

the first malaysia airlines a380 will be able on 1july 2012 for KUALA LUMPUR to London Heathrow...

@marissahosanna when is ur flight and which route r u going....?btw i from jakarta to kuala lumpur on 30june with MAS 737-800NG...the next day on 1july i will fly with this a380 to LHR..i choose the premium economy seat...i look forward this will be the best interior compare to others...

Could be because more than one is appointed. Are a total of six pieces, which are then numbered from A to F, and perhaps more options.

I wonder why the management didn't choose to reuse the old registration 9M-MAS for the A380 - basically the flagship of their fleet? They last used it on a DC-10 back in the 80s. Heck the plane no longer exists even, written off in 2000.
