Darkfall Online Features

A film pointing out some of the lesser trumpeted features of Darkfall Online. In any other MMORPG these lesser features would be lauded as revolutionary, but then Darkfall Online is a generation ahead of other MMORPG's.

@goruu There's a ton of PvE in the game, and as long as you keep your wits about you (aware of load lag when other people get close) PvP becomes sorta avoidable..

@Vendnmachine There are something like 100 city and hamlet locations that can be fought over and owned by clans. Boats and ships are used for transport (beats swimming) and sea battles.

@Vendnmachine It is very, very, very skill based. Combat controls are very similar to Oblivion. You have to think about weapon reach, weapon type, damage output vs protection (shield or 2 handed), armour protection vs magical abilities, the right mix of spells, cover, flanking, ambushes, mount combat, blocking, stamina and stamina regen, burst damage strategies etc

There is no mmorpg out there with PvP quite like Darkfall's.

@TheSilver99 i think i heard fallen earth went f2p, it is skill based but its fukn retarded- the devs are faggots and carebears, like some guy got banned for PKing some carebears who thought they would be cool and have a role play event in the middle of a PVP zone, so this guy PKs them so they cry to a GM and the GM comes and bans the PK for PvPing in a PvP zone

darkfall is real combat while wow is point and click... fuckin wowtards thinkin wow is the "best game ever" all wow is is a fuckin clone of everquest with better graphix and no skill req

@Vendnmachine you build a boat to sail away from the mainland where all the PKs are ganking so you can find an island where u can level up and then go gank some noobs of your own to complete the cycle of ganking or you can engage in some gay high level 15 minute fight with magic, bunnyhop macros, and too much healing

@Vendnmachine if anything DF is the only game where the pvp does not get old fast.

its not instanced the numbers of people involved are always different. gear is always different. location,type of player & politics is what makes sure pvp int his game is 100% different every encounter
