i LOVE livemocha! im new to it, but already im feeling like i can speak german! I highly advise anyone who wants to learn another language to check it out.

2:24: Yeah, that wasn't rehearsed.
Livemocha central problems: grammar tips come from unrelieable sources. They don't return your e-mails, too much spam, they don't teach grammar, they only teach you words.

Just started using Livemocha and am learning a lot quickly. As a bonus, the woman who is "Monica"on the website is incredibly beautiful.

@septip123 Hopefully you've checked back in the last couple years - all emails are now responded to within a couple days, spam is greatly decreased, and their new Active courses teach in-depth grammar and vocabulary. It's worth another look if you haven't been there recently!

Livemocha is ok, but sometimes it teaches incorrect phrases. I went a whole lesson learning how to say dates and times and when I completed my exercise the native speakers told me I had declined everything into the wrong case even though I did it exactly the same way the lesson had taught me to.
