It was never about safety you doofus. The student never became violent until your moronic law enforcement tried to forcefully remove him for exercising his right to free speech.

I agree with your analysis of the facts.
However, one question, who determines what is appropriate? The police?
None of what the young man stated broke any of the limitations you proposed. All Kerry had to say was: "No, I have no affiliation with secret societies," and that would have been it. Afterwards, if the kid did not stop THEN it would have been disruptive.
Just because the populace does not agree with what an individual has to say does not make that statement "disruptive."

It's straight out of 1984. We have let the police turn into, basically, a new speech and thought police.

Civil discourse is allowing that poor kid who got tasered to speak w/o being disrutped. Not physically silenced and physically molested and forced against the will. He was not disrutpive nor did what he did warrant the actions of the officers. Pathetic abuse of authority and power.

Yeah this is kinda true, you can't do nothing normal anymore without getting sued or arrested. Spank a child, step off a bus (bus company gets sued because you hurt yourself while stepping off the bus cause it's not at the bus stop), stop a robber breaking into your home, freedom of speech (this is a joke), self expression, ask questions at a conference without being tasered for bursts of anger... it goes on, and on...
