My Mom bought me some of that bubble plastic stuff, but I never could get the stuff to get big. And it had a horrible smell too.

I had both of these products as a kid in the 70s
and the superelastic........ stayed in production much longer than the suberball that they manufactured. The superball was BIG and made of a unusually hard rubber. It only stayed
in production for a couple of years because kids' noses were getting broken and black eyes were getting given by the superball smacking one in the face at really high speeds!. There was seriously no controlling those large superballs! I got hurt once or twice myself,,,,
