Video shorts taken from a GoPro Camera placed in the First Due Ladder (Quint). Fire was Far advanced before the fire department was dispatched. Building involved is a single story Storage Facility that housed Numerous Compressed Gas Tanks. Due to the progression of the fire primary goal of the first due was to protect the attached 3 story exposure building. Fire building was constructed in 1977, exposure was built in the 1890s. Crews were able to hold the fire to the original fire building only.

  • Wow, big words from an armchair quarterback. You were obviously not there to know what we were doing.

  • @codypa911 This fire was quite clearly a defensive only fire for the building involved. It housed compressed gas. What do you want, the FF's to make an offensive interior attack on that building. You can hear the tanks blowing. You obviously do not understand FF tactics. There would be nothing to gain for such a high risk tactic and so very much to lose if you did. Also you cannot see what is happening on the other 3 sides of the building.

  • Wow. Volleys cared more about the camera placement than defensive ops..guess you dont have to worry about water supply when you let the building burn to the ground....
