That is the problem with hockey...too many cheap shots that have nothing to do with the actual game...ever since Bettman and his gang have turned the game into an American media event the amount of garbage in the game has increased.

Get rid of the instigator rule and let the chickenshit players who are cheapshot artists get what is coming to them. Also, a clean hit on a star shouldn't see the team goon going after a guy for a legit play.

Call the cheap stuff and don't protect the dirty players

@HereisNathaniel Don't worry about your spelling,I understand you well.Stevens would always hang on to Lindros' jersey and put his head down,so that Lindros couldn't have the necessary range to swing at him and land punches.And again,it just confirms how frustrated Stevens was by Lindros-Couldn't fight him,couldn't move him out of the crease,was hammered by his hard hits.So what was there left?-blindsided hits in the head,when Lindros couldn't face him.Stevens is a piece of shit for that hit.
