Yeah i did it in summer 2008, very very nice walk, im planning to ski from the top down bypass the cornice drop down off the ridge and go down to that cootambata hut down near the glacial lakes.
Apparently its great to ski down off the ridge, have you done it?

it does, but its also a pleasure to walk it suring the summer with all the wild flowers and rocky scenery. :)

Mt Kosciusko might not be very high but it is such a beautiful place when it is caped with 10 ft of snow. Since the top of these mountains are rounded it makes them look superb when coverd in snow.

Job well done Jeremy! Weather perfect, but snow condition was concrete hard ice all over the place. (not to mention the wind factor at the top!!).
