For Fiona and the gang at Nairn Academy. This is an Associate Board grade 4 piece.I noticed most of my pieces are slow; so I decided to play this as fast as I could. You don't have to for the exam. I notice the faster I play the more I tense up and that is reflected in the tone. Go for a steady rythm and "clean" articulation. I suppose in the absence of a teacher, viewing yourself on video is a good diagnostic tool.I'll re-record it with a serious head on.I hope you like it regardless and thanks for viewing.

  • Very nicely done on this Carcassi study. A bit faster than usually played, true, but it's often nice to hear a piece played out of its usual tempo, like this. What guitar are you playing there?

  • @BhamJames This is a hand made guitar by Colin Morrison of Arbroath, Scotland. Indian rosewood with german spruce.

  • wow, you play it so fast.

I like it a little slower than that bc it just makes it more enjoyable to hear it. But anyways, its still good. So thumbs up (:

  • @kim0loves0chickfila Agreed! I mentioned a little explanation in my commentary to justify it. However, it was fun trying to push myself and try to develop the tremelo potential of the piece. Thanks for taking time to comment. Regards, Aidy
