  • Thanks Buzzed. I actually got mine from a friend who didnt like it. His dream guitar was a SG standard. We struck a deal and I went to Guitar Center and bought an SG and we traded. I spent about $1450 on the SG. Now I have something I love, and so does he. TOOL is the shit.

  • I hesitate to post since my recording capabilities are limited and would prolly not reproduce the sound very well. opiate, those are the same mods done to mine, I was playing in a small office with wood floors, once I moved to the living room with carpet and more area, the sound was much better

  • not sure. only thing i found about his marshall is that channels were wired together. not sure how his is done or if mine is the same.

  • thanks guys. With help from Opiate's videos hopefully I'll have the balls to post soon

  • Ah, a fellow silverburst lover. Mine's an 82, got mine for 1500$ back in 2000 and now there like 3K, it's rediculous. I think Adam Jones single handedly made these collector items. I remember back in the early 90's guitar stores were trying to give these away for like 700 bucks. That amp is the real mccoy. Let me know if you ever want to part with that. Nice rig dude.

  • Did you say Marshall bass amp?Ive only seen 1 in my day yours is the second.they sounded awesome with guitars.cool stuff man..remember the 8-10in Marshall cabinet?been lookin cant find one..Rock on buddy.....

  • what is the micro amp?

  • Hahaha, you have excellent taste in gear.

Except for the Marshall, our set-up is almost the same.

  • fuck can i bring my pedal board over to your house, that amp owns.

  • Didn't I hear adam used a boss metal zone pedal to get all of his gain or is it like what you said about wiring the channels? I love that tone and I want to get to something close to that.

  • hey guys I just picked up a 71 super bass myself and was talkin to my guitar/amp tech about gettin the most outta it, and all that can really be done to increase the gain withought earsplitting volumes is wiring the channels together and adding a master volume. When Adam needed more gain he would use his eq pedal's boost.
