L.A.'s deadliest street gang just declared war on the cops.

This is a video with the soundtrack from John carpenters movie Assault on precinct 13. I wanted to share this awesome and cool music to all users on youtube. It's one of the coolest soundtracks I've ever heard, and the soundtrack is also so very important for the movie.

John Carpenter is one of few directors who can successfully transform their movies into giant roller coaster rides without insulting the audience. James Cameron does this, sometimes, but usually adds more plot to his stories. Carpenter just takes simple premises, throws some characters together, and lets everything evolve and unwind on their own. "Assault on Precinct 13" deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as "Dawn of the Dead," or perhaps the overrated "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," as a very low-budget horror/thriller that takes a cast of unknowns, places them together, doesn't really delve into their backgrounds, but lets everything just work itself out like clockwork. There's an eager new cop, an infamous death row murderer, and a relocating precinct, all stuffed together into a movie about a vicious gang assault. It's brilliant in a very subtle way; a sign of things to come for a director who has implemented some of the most oft-used camera tricks in the horror world.

  • Just watched it on Netflix. I want to get it, but I don't. Terminator, Road Warrior, Planet of the Apes (original), Westworld. I love all of those.

  • i got this plan. it's called "save ass"

  • It is time for the common man to realise it is a battle against the super rich who control everything rather than each other. The super rich love that we gang up on our own, they are shit scared the poor realise they are being controlled.Carpenter knows this, just watch his film 'They Live'.

  • @makoeyez Great minds think alike... No shit, Clint Eastwood is my #1 actor. Spaghitti westerns, Dirty Harry & even the Every which / Any which movies LMAO.

Right turn Clyde XD (hope you get the reference)

  • @BugCombat haha you're welcome. And, you're right about John Wayne - I would choose a Clint Eastwood western any day!

  • @makoeyez I haven't watched the remake of The Omen yet. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll make sure I watch it (original is great). I didnt even know 3:10 to Yuma was a remake, and I think its great (thanks for the knowledge) I'll look out for the original and hopefully let you know. And come to think about it, True Grit is a really good remake... I dont like the original, mainly because im just not keen on John Wayne's style. Thanks for making me think abit friend. = )

  • @BugCombat The original Wickerman bored me to death. I guess if I had watched the original first I may have felt differently. How about The Omen? Both the original and remake are brilliant in my eyes. I can't really think of any other decent remakes. I would say 3:10 to Yuma but I haven't seen the original so I can't compare :(

  • @makoeyez Im sorry but The Wicker Man with Nic Cage is horrendous (watch the original). The Amityville Horror is watchable but not a patch on the original... I have my own opinions and you have yours. And I respect you taste and opinion. But to me they both have nothing on the originals. Fire some more at me. I genuinely want to watch a remake that is as good or better than the original. = )

  • @BugCombat The Wicker Man? The Amityville Horror - both great remakes.

  • This is still a slammin song!!!
