You people might not give a flying crap about what Europeans think, but we have a lot of things incommon and sometimes you getter a more objective view looking at politics from the outside.

The point is, the GOP has become the far? right (at least if they'd continue Bush doctrine). And Obama isn't regarded as a socialist over here, but more of a centrist, which he really is. Ofcourse some people go nuts over him, but in general we really do think his politics are more sensible than the GOP's

@fluentinsound Have you learned from history? People in U.S. are afraid of the government taking over and changing everything. That is what Obama will do. The conservatives are not going fascist, that is something the left made up. In fact the left is going socialist. Not today, not tomorrow but the left will adopt every socialist idea. Why are so many Europeans brainwashed? I'm European btw. I mean, "Obama wants to change things in America". What? We really have to keep an eye on the radical parties here in Europe. Some of them want to overthrow capitalism? WHAT? USA has the same tendency at implementing socialist ideas to the democrat party. And Obama is one of the most radical. Like Reagan said: "Americans would not vote for a socialist, but in the name of liberalism they will adopt every kind of socialistic tendency"!
