Acer has finally made it into the Android game and has developed their own Launcher app (the home screen and app drawer), throwing all conventional styles out the window.

They start out by removing the notification bar and moving the date and time down onto the main screen. At the bottom of the screen are two rows of icons with a clean reflection and no titles describing what they are. Swiping this area up reveals a side-scrolling app tray which swaps out the reflections for app titles. Tap and hold on an icon in the app drawer and you can drag it up into the top area, making customizing the featured apps very easy.

"Grippies" on the sides let you get carousel views of your images, music, and videos on the right and your recently run apps on a carousel on the left.
