The whole island is under US control like Guantanamo.
Communism is fake and it is used to cover corruption, narco-traffic prostitution rings,and other dirty and criminal activities in the island.

Every country that has a military needs to hold exercises, to ensure that its soldiers are prepared properly. Otherwise a lack of training and expertise could cause serious problems. It is no different than walking ones dog or taking out the trash.
This is simply another case of a news organization misconstruing events to make them seem news worthy.

Cuba is not the issue, it's Venezuela that we will have to keep an eye on. If the US wanted to it would have seized Cuba in the 1960's.
