This is a breakfast dish that is traditionally made the night before and cooked in the morning. This particular recipe is super easy. It can be adjusted, modified, tweaked, etc. to your regional taste buds.

  • We make a similar dish, but instead of crescent rolls, we make layers with hash-cut potatoes.

    Mmmmmm, good!

Thanks for all the great recipes and fun country-boy tips!

  • Yea... bet would work pretty good.

    Thanks for the kind words.

  • Man, your Awesome! I absolutely love all your videos. This one looks way easy and makes me wanna go buy the ingredients right now to make it for tomorrow. Thanks!!!

  • I really don't like casserole type of things but I have to say, if you do an Internet search for recipes on stradas, so many of them go way far into it, some will even make the bread base.

A little sausage, a little cheese - a splash of milk... Also, if you are one of the growing many who have to watch carbs - there were 11 Carbs 2 sugars/roll - 8 in the can. That isn't too awful bad (again look at some of the other recipes). Egg Beaters and onions & bell peppers instead of sausage sometimes.

  • I think a Hardee's Biscuit and Gravy (single serving) has 34 fat grams (8 of which are saturated), 47 grams carbs/6 sugars - no fiber, only 8 grams protein and with that comes 10mg cholesterol.

I'm not saying Hardees isnt tasty stuff but if you or yours have to - or simply choose to - watch the numbers, it is a nice break from cold Fiber One® or Kashi the other 5 or 6 days a week. And, it is something you can fix and leave for her from time to time.

  • You make some great dishes ! And your

    videos are so well done,Thanks

You should be making money doing this !

  • Thanks but there are misspeaks and issues, lighting, sound, angle, and sometimes on a good day .... spelling! Being the one who shot them I see them - sooner or later.

But for what it is worth, I do appreciate the visits and I try very hard not to waste anyone's time.
