so i'm gonna try my best to remember the notes but the chords for the left hand are:

C major (C-E-G), A minor (A-C-E), F major (F-A-C), and G major (G-B-D)

basically you play those over and over again throughout the entire song. you can play those notes one at a time, or all together... mix it up if you want, either way, it still sounds good.

as for the notes in the right hand:

Verse 1:
i was a quick wet boy = D E F G G G
diving too deep for coins = G F E E E E
all of your street light eyes = E D C C C C
wide on my plastic toys = C D E D D D

(repeat for the second half of the verse "then when the cops closed the fair"...and then twice again for the 2nd verse "now i'm a phat house cat"...)

Chorus:
have i found you = G G D B+D C+E
flightless bird = B+D C+E B+D C A+C
jealous, weeping = G+B B+D A+C C+E

(repeat for the second half of the chorus "or lost you american mouth")

so there you have it!!!! i hope that helps!! its the best i can do :)

I hate how people are associating this masterpiece with Twilight.

The song was and is so much more than a song on the soundtrack, now it's been crushed under the pointy heel of that abomination.
