Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor (Bale) is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington), a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynets operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

This is gonna be the first in three new films, and their also gonna put robert patrick in one of them (T 1000 from terminator 2) as the scientist who creates the T 1000.

Word? Robert Patrick is gonna be in this new trilogy? I had heard that a few weeks ago but didn't know if there was any truth to that. That's cool!

Yeah, but I read somewhere that they're using another bodybuilder who coincidentally played Arnold in a TV movie a few years back, with prosthetics and voice-over from Arnold himself. I'm just interested to finally see the war against Skynet. Plus, Christian Bale as John Connor is probably the main thing selling me on this film.

This was a solid action flick. I think this film got an unfair shake from alot of people because of the fuckin foul taste that Terminator 3 left in people's mouths. Excellent action and direction in this flick...There's plenty of nods to the OG Terminator film and to T2 Judgment day as well.

how was skynet destroyed?

also i noticed that they mention that tec com (the good guys) destroys sky net but the time travel device is finished. will this cause a loop in time?

Yeah, I'm feeling the post-apocalyptic route they're finally taking. Summer Glau is cool, but better stick with the TV show. This one's got Bryce Dallas Howard, which I'm allllllll good with.
