I have had the scooter since March 28th, and I recently have been having some problems with it. I brought it in for the 600 mile service where they found the exhaust bolt was missing. The part was said to arrive in July, so the mechanic went to a hardware store and got a bolt that would work. I was riding yesterday afternoon when my exhaust suddenly became very loud. I pulled over to see the entire exhaust had snapped in half, along with a nut missing off of the pipe.
@parrainx I added a lock washer, then when I gave it an extra little umph, the bolt came loose and their was a Helicoil wraped around the threads on the bolt. I guess the previous owner already had this problem lol. Now I check them before every ride and never too tight.

This is a common problem for Vinos, top exhaust bolt getting loose. Eventually the weight of the muffler snaps the exhaust at the joint.
It happened to me twice, now I have several spares of that bolt (couldn't find bolt long enough at HD or Orchard's).
I learned my lesson and check that bolt on a weekly basis. I also added a lock washer and locktite, but it does unfortunately gets loose every once in a while, this time i catch and tighten it before it falls out.

I had this happen to me last week and my scoot is just now a year old. (a week outside of warranty!) I called the dealer and all they could say was they charge $80/hour for labor plus parts. My husband was able to fix it with parts from Lowe's for under $2.00!

I've had that problem twice now. But I'm going on 14,000 miles so I guess I can't complain to much, but I've had exhaust problems from day one.

Whats the deal are you going to fix it? is that under warranty? should be especially if they caught it at the 600 mile check up.
be careful with that lanyard, extra things that dangle can be dangerous.
