I totaly agree mate, Like yeah people with accents dont realize they got accents but when ppl talk to ya from a different country they will tell you, that you got an accent :)

I live in michigan and i can tell the difference between americans and canadians. They have longer vowels usually.

Only one person in my entire lifetime has ever been able to idenify my accent, and i didn't even bring up the subject. A cab driver in a small town in southern england pinpointed my accent to the province. I've never given a cab driver such a generous tip in my life

hehe, well at least I can easily tell the difference between Canadian and American. Probably due to watching too many Canadian tv shows as a kid.
