My friends and I drove to Hollywood in 1988 to see fIREHOSE play, and blasted this song the whole way there, from La Mirada.

I've been looking for this song for 20 years as well. Always thought it was RHCPs And I would search all their albums and nothing. We would rewind the Speed Freaks intro all the time mainly for the song........The search is over!!!!!!!!!

I bought the Speed Freaks DVD, ever since I was a kid, I'd watch it and this song was just awesomeness, all the instruments playing crazy like mozart almost mathematical, crazy song but awesomeness.

Like sweetsourmash, shermanfunk, and GLayzenby - Speed Freaks was the first place I heard this song, and TarBabies! Sort of makes me think about Infectious Grooves(I think TarBabies were a band first; not sure) and Fishbone in a way.

I saw fIREHOSE too at a small club. Wish I could have seen Tar Babies. I will try to make time to post the rest of the songs off this album. That Santa Cruz speed freaks vid is where I first heard Tar Babies and fIREHOSE.
