  • 4% bipartisan is way better than every single republicans 0%

  • no worries, I didn't take offense. Just to be clear, I normally don't look toward the govt for solutions, it just that this problem is so deep i dont see any other way. To be honest I feel like my original party (republicans) turned their back on the working man when they got seduced by the lobbyist. I cant help but feel it should've been Mccain in 2000

  • BigJimbo, ignore the "Nope" comment....I was testing to see if the comments were working or not....

...I'm wanting to give you a link so you can read how the economy started to crumble...it was NOT due to tax cuts...

...but crap-tube here won't let me post a URL it seems?

Keep searching for the truth BigJimbo and don't look towards government for solutions.

"A government big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take away everything you have." - Thomas Jefferson

  • Nope

  • I agree with some of what you're saying. however, over the last decade the wealth of this nation was shifted to wall street, while the rest of us endured the tax burden. remeber last years "stimulus" that was pure tax breaks. lower taxes don't equal economic growth. most people save their tax returns in these times. its my honest belieft that if we do more infrastructure spending and force banks to start lending the money they were given, it will be a start to our economic recovery

  • Well that's the thing though. We wouldn't need those credits if taxes weren't high in the first place. Also, credits aren't always applicable for everyone...lowering taxes would come each and every year for EVERYONE and it wouldn't need some snobby politician "okaying" it for us dumbfolk citizens...

That's sad that politicians are basically sending us table scraps...and we're just all too eager to fight for it and become temporarily satisfied....

  • I hear you, thats why I'm hoping he sticks with an early campaign promise to give tax credits to employers that keep jobs in the US. I don't agree with the tax breaks for the wall street crowd, those need to go to the small business owners
